3.) Google Cash Tips

In order to provide you with the most useful Google Cash Tips, I've compiled some of the most frequently asked questions by Google Cashers. Here are a few of the questions and answers below. Look for more in upcoming newsletters.

1. Question: When I go to join an affiliate program like CJ.com or Amazon.com, they ask me for my website URL. Is there a way I can join them and promote them through Google Adwords, without having a website?

Answer:

Yes. Most affiliate program managers don't really even know about the Google Cash method of promoting affiliate links directly from Adwords. So they just assume that affiliates are promoting them via a website or newsletter.

But of course you can also promote them directly from Adwords.

The best way to get accepted to an affiliate program that asks for your website URL, is to apply with a valid website URL that you have a relationship to.

Google Cash customers are free to use one of my URLs to apply to affiliate programs. You'll find the URLs on the Google Cash Resource website. (The Google Cash Resource website is one of the bonuses that you receive with “Google Cash”.)

Then once you have been accepted by that affiliate program, you can promote your affiliate link that you receive from them, directly from your adwords ad, by putting it in the destination URL of your adwords ad.

2. Question: I have signed up as an affiliate for a merchant
through Commission Junction (CJ.com). Can you please explain how I can get my affiliate link for them?

Answer:

Login to CJ.com. Then click on 'Get Links' near the top of the
page. Find the Merchant that you plan on promoting. If you have not already, click on the checkbox next to the advertiser name and then click on Apply to Program.

Then when you have been accepted, click on the 'View Links' link next to the advertisers name.

You will then be presented with a bunch of different banners, and text links.

Choose a text link and click on the 'Get Html' link next to it.
Here is an example of what the html you get might look like:

Please note that in the html above, there are two URLs. One has 'click' in it, and the other has 'image' in it. We want the
URL with 'click' in it.

The URL that you will take from the html above is:

http://www.qksrv.net/click-1487821-9283143

You put that URL into the destination URL of your Adwords ad for this particular example.

And for this example, for the display URL of your Adwords ad you would put: www.TheLoanPage.com

3. Question: I have a profitable Google Adwords campaign and want to know how I can increase my profits even more and take it to the next level.

Answer:

One way to increase your profits is to use Overture's PPC system.

Overture does not allow you to link directly from your Ad to an affiliate link. You have to own the website that you are sending traffic to. This is their policy.

However, often you can link directly to your affiliate link from your Overture ad, and they will approve the ad. But if you try that and they deny the ad, then you can setup a simple webpage pre-selling the merchant's product or service.

Sometimes when I have an Adwords campaign that is working and I want to increase those profits even more, I'll tweak the ads and keywords until I feel like I'm getting as much profit as I can linking my Adwords directly to the merchant's site.

Then I'll setup a webpage pre-selling the merchant's product or service.

This allows me to now setup Overture campaigns. I will basically take the information from my successful Google Adwords Campaign: keywords and ad text, and will adapt it for an Overture Campaign.

For example, I have some profitable Google Adwords Campaigns for fha streamline loans. I wanted to increase my profits, so I setup a quick pre-selling webpage:

http://www.wherelenderscompete.com

Then I setup an Overture campaign using my keywords and ad text from my Google Adwords Campaign. I send traffic from the Overture campaign to wherelenderscompete.com.

It sounds like a lot of extra work, but it really isn't bad. You
can even use a service like: rentacoder.com or elance.com to find inexpensive developers who will build your website.

So don't worry if you don't know how to do it all yourself, you can have someone put it together for you. And the prices are very reasonable. $50 to $100 for a simple site like the example above.
